To My Younger Self

Hey there,

I know you didn’t expect me to pay a visit to you, even in the form of a letter, but trust me when I say this, you could really use some help right now, I mean I’m not physically present there, but I know all the blunders you’re doing right now. Trust me when I say this, you are not doing bad with your grades and your life at all, you might end up making a couple of mistakes (okay, maybe not a couple of mistakes, but a lot of ‘em), but there is not one thing that you’ll end up regretting. I know you crave responsibilities, I know you love proving yourself to people around you, but, trust me you really don’t have to do it, enjoy it while it lasts, because believe me, you are gonna miss not having big responsibilities and not having to prove yourself to everyone. I know you’re kinda having a hard time accepting the way you look because it’s pretty different from the “Ideal Looks Standards” set by the society, but trust me you are beautiful the way you are, and someone is actually gonna see that.

Well, I agree that this letter is kinda behind time, but maybe you can still use it. You push yourself too hard, maybe soothe it a little, you are too hard on yourself, maybe quit that a little?

I know you love planning your life, you still do, but I guess it’s time we realize that life is pretty unpredictable and no, not everything is under your control, not everything is driven by your hard work and plans, some of it is fate, and however scary it seems to you now, believe in the chain reactions going through your life, each one of them has a beautiful purpose after all.

This letter is kinda messed up and out of blues, without any context and sequential order, but, this is how much confused you are about everything, and I know I have already said it enough, but please trust me, you are gonna meet a person, you are gonna have a moment, you are gonna face the challenge, and when all that happens, this will all seem worth it.
